Week 14 Injury and News

Finally the breakout game we have been waiting for from the Browns, at least offensively. The Browns upset the Chiefs Sunday in an overtime win, but they did it mostly without Charlie Frye. Frye injured his wrist early in the game and was replaced by Derek Anderson. Frye is questionable for Thursday's game against the Steelers. Anderson seemed to hold his own in this game, and I'm interested to see him possibly start against the Steelers.

Chester Taylor lived up to my prediction and gained 99 yards against the Bears in only three quarters. He bruised his ribs and would leave the game, he would later return but did not carry the ball again. Taylor underwent a CT scan on Monday and it showed damage in the cartilage area. According to head coach Childress, he is day-to-day. I will report later this week on his condition. Minnesota visits Detroit next week, so Taylor will be a strong fantasy start if he is healthy.

In other Minnesota Vikings news, two unnamed starters are calling for a quarterback change. It's hard to fault Brad Johnson for this weeks game against a very good Bears defense, but he has been playing this bad most of the season. Look for a QB change to happen before the end of the season.

More WR injuries don't seem to be slowing New Orleans down. Joe Horn reagrravated his groin injury. Theres no further information about it yet, I'll update you as the week goes on. I would expect Colston back next week, so it shouldn't effect the Saints too much. Hold on to Devery Henderson at least until Joe Horn is cleared to play.

Thats all I have so far for this week. Check out tomorrows preview of the Pittsburgh and Cleveland game. More info about Frye and if he is starting.

Fantasy football playoffs coming, congrats to those who made it and good luck. Better luck next year for those who are missing them. Hope to have you in one of my leagues next year!
