Week 14 Injury Report and News

Your Weinke is showing! Chris Weinke that is. With Delhomme's thumb injury Weinke could be the starter in Sundays game vs the Giants. He missed Wednesday and Thursdays practice, which doesn't look good for him playing. He is listed as questionable.

McGahee missed a few practiced this week but practiced Friday, which looks better for him starting. He injured his ankle vs San Diego last week. McGahee will be a game-time decision, but he feels he will be ready to play. He is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Chester Taylor is listed as doubtful with bruised ribs, for Sundays game vs Detroit. Many people have picked up his backup Ciatrick Fason for the week. He will be a great fill in start if Taylor can't play. Fason is definitely the hot waiver wire pick up at the moment. Not really many quality fantasy plays for the Vikings except for the running back position
On the other side of the ball look for Kitna to have a huge game along with Furrey and Roy Williams. Kevin Jones, not so much. Minnesota is only allowing 58.8 yards per game on the ground. Most teams aren't even attempting to rush. The only way Kevin Jones will be involved is by catching the ball, and that wouldn't be good enough for me. He is a sit in this game.

Ronnie Brown has been ruled out for this weeks game against New England.

Colston and Horn are both listed as questionable for this week. This story is of particular interest to me because I need Colston for the playoffs.
Colston was unable to participate in some of the practice on Thursday which doesn't look good for him starting. He will be another game-time decision like last week.
Horn did not practice Friday and is unlikely to play.
Huge news for Devery Henderson owners, keep him on your team at least one more week. With all the injuries to the WR's Brees will be looking to Henderson a lot this week.

Heres a few interesting stats I picked up today:

21 consecutive home games for Kansas City without allowing a 100 yard rusher. This doesn't look good for Jamal Lewis. If you are on the edge about whether or not to start em, definitely consider that stat

The Bengals are 16-0 when Rudi Johnson carries the ball at least 25 times. I'm hoping he is really involved this week. In my fleaflicker league I have a tough game coming up.

Thats about it, Week 14's Start 'Em Sit 'Em tomorrow!
